Aligning Skills Development with the 4th Industrial Revolution

Sasbo and InSETA have partnered with Deviare to accelerate the re-skilling, up-skilling, and cross-skilling of talent in the financial services sector. Sasbo is committed to being an enabler of skills development, aligned to the 4th industrial revolution and new world of work in the financial services sector. Sasbo, InSETA together with Deviare, is embarking on a digital skills program to train employees in Digital Skills.

The financial services industry is experiencing technological disruptions that have rendered many positions obsolete in favor of the increased demand for digital channels. To reposition and advance the interests of employees in the industry, it is vital to guarantee that digital skills are prioritized.

InSETA, SASBO and Deviare have collaborated to accelerate the efforts in re-skilling impacted workers in digital areas that align with the needs of the financial services sector.

Elevate your career with digital skills

Learn Data Analytics and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals. On completion of the course, you will be able to:

Master analytics skills and tools.

Learn the essential concepts of Python programming and gain in-depth knowledge in data analytics and data visualization using Tableau.

Learn the fundamentals of Python and SQL and how to apply them to real-world applications.

Master the concepts of machine learning, plus the programming languages needed to excel in an cyber security career.

The Application Process

Step 1 : Recruitment

To get started, the project will undertake a month-long application process to find qualifying workers, who will be evaluated through an aptitude assessment

Step 2 : Application Submission

Applications are open from 17/02/2025 until 13/03/2025. 

Step 3 : Verification of Sasbo Membership

Your membership will be verified with our admin office.

Step 4 : Communication and link for Aptitude test

You will receive communication with a link to complete an online aptitude test

Step 5 : Onboarding & Orientation

Official acceptance will be sent to you and you will then be onboarded. The aim of this program is to equip employees with essential digital skills that align with the financial services sector. 4 months will be dedicated to learning 4IR Digital Skills.

Step 6 : Mentoring & Coaching

We recognized that the process of re-skilling in the digital realm can be intimidating and therefore, ​a dedicated Deviare Customer Success Manager will be allocated to the program to manage the learner experience, engagement and completion rates.
